Thanks so much for stopping by the About page—here’s a little bit about me!

I’m the founder of New Mercies Massage, which I started in 2023 while attending massage school. I graduated from the Carolina School of Massage and Wellness and became a licensed massage therapist in April 2024. Before that, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Lee University (a degree that's slightly less relevant in a career where silence is golden—but still a big part of my story!).

My love for massage began in the summer of 2023 after receiving my very first one. It was truly life-changing—so much so that I enrolled in night classes while working full-time as a nanny to pursue this new calling. Now, here I am, doing what I love every day and seeing God’s hand in the journey every step of the way.

The name New Mercies comes from Lamentations 3:22–23—“His mercies are new every morning.” (It’s also a line from my favorite hymn, Great Is Thy Faithfulness!) I believe in creating a space where people can pause, breathe, and experience a sense of renewal—body, mind, and soul.

When I’m not in the massage room, you’ll probably find me with my wonderful husband, reading on my beloved Kindle, or spending quality time with family and friends.
