Cancellation Policy
1. Notice Requirement
All appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
No-shows (failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice) will be charged the full (100%) service fee.
2. Reschedule Credit (Limited Courtesy)
Clients who cancel or reschedule within 48 hours may receive a credit equal to the 50% cancellation fee if a new appointment is scheduled within three (3) weeks of the original appointment date.
Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid for one-time use only. Unused credits will be forfeited.
Issuance of credits is at the sole discretion of New Mercies Massage LLC and may be withheld if cancellation or rescheduling policies are repeatedly violated.
3. Illness, Emergencies, and Force Majeure
Exceptions may be made for verified illness, medical emergencies, or other circumstances beyond the client’s reasonable control, at the sole discretion of New Mercies Massage LLC.
Clients experiencing contagious illness (e.g., fever, flu, COVID-19, etc.) are required to reschedule for the safety of staff and other clients.
New Mercies Massage LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in the event of therapist illness, emergencies, hazardous weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events without liability beyond rescheduling the appointment.
4. Reminders & Responsibility
Email and/or text reminders are sent as a courtesy. However, receipt of such reminders is not guaranteed, and clients remain fully responsible for remembering their appointment times.
Failure to receive reminders does not excuse late cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows.
5. Payment & Enforcement
Cancellation and no-show fees will be automatically charged to the client’s payment method on file or will be due prior to scheduling any future appointments.
Clients with outstanding balances may be denied future services until payment is made in full.
Repeated violations of this policy may result in refusal of future services at the discretion of New Mercies Massage LLC.
6. Agreement
By booking an appointment with New Mercies Massage LLC, clients acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, including the authorization of cancellation/no-show charges to their payment method on file.
